About Us — Last Call Society

Orange County, California

Where Craft, Culture,
and Community Meet

Last Call Society is a curated passport experience built for those who believe the best nights are made, not stumbled into.

Our Origin

How Last Call Society Came to Be

Last Call Society was founded by Josh Buckhalter and Adam Dahl, two creatives brought together by a shared passion for drinking culture, immersive experiences, and community.

Josh and Adam first connected when Adam was in the early stages of launching PintLife in Los Angeles — a passport program built specifically for the craft beer and brewery scene. About a year later, when PintLife expanded into Orange County, they began collaborating on events and activations across the craft beverage landscape.

At the same time, Josh was building Drunken Gentlemen, an independent drinking club and apparel brand. With over 20 years of experience in hospitality, marketing, branding, events, and e-commerce, he had long been interested in creating a curated drinking program tied to the culture Drunken Gentlemen represents.

Rather than build that program solo, Josh chose to partner with Adam. Together, they drew inspiration from the proven passport model Adam developed through PintLife — and blended it with the culture, storytelling, and creative direction behind Drunken Gentlemen.

That collaboration became Last Call Society.

Three Brands. One Philosophy.

Last Call Society

A standalone passport experience focused exclusively on bars, lounges, speakeasies, tiki bars, and cocktail-driven destinations.

Drunken Gentlemen

The drinking club and apparel arm celebrating drinking culture, community, and craft — operating independently.

PintLife

A beer-focused passport program in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and the Inland Empire. Its proven concepts helped shape how LCS experiences are designed.

Built to celebrate drinking culture — wherever the last call takes you.
A Curated Experience

Built With Intention

Last Call Society was never meant to be just another bar list. Every location in the 2026 Passport is carefully selected. From hidden speakeasies to iconic lounges and cocktail-forward destinations, every stop represents a place worth discovering — or rediscovering — through a more intentional lens.

Each venue earns its place based on five criteria:

Atmosphere
Craftsmanship
Creativity
Hospitality
Memorable
Experiences
More Than a Passport

A Society

Last Call Society is built on a simple belief: craft drinks bring people together, and great experiences create community.

Your passport unlocks more than just a drink — it opens the door to an experience-driven network designed to reward exploration and connection.

This isn't about checking boxes. It's about becoming part of a group that values quality, discovery, and the art of drinking well.
